Come Closer

I present a series that captures the deep emotions and feelings in their most authentic and honest form. The intensity and strength expressed in my works invite the viewer to embark on an emotional journey and discover the honesty behind the emotions. Emotions are often complex and multi-layered and it is important to accept and understand them. Come closer and discover the truth behind the emotions - because sometimes there is beauty in the pain.

In Situ [ˌɪn ˈsɪtʃ.uː]

In place, exactly where you belong.

In Situ describes a feeling of having arrived and embodies feeling at ease, at home in an abstract form, completely accepted and understood. The colors and shapes of the artwork radiate calm and harmony, and the composition invites the viewer to lose themselves in this moment of security and safety.

Collide [kəˈlaɪd]

The dichotomy of natural forces is explained with the selected contrasting colors. The analogy of the water and a sandy beach, sea and land illustrates the different elements that meet, connect and influence each other, sometimes chaotically but ultimately in a kind of symbiotic relationship.

Dissolving wax symbolizes the process of unfolding and revealing hidden layers and secrets. The transience of wax reflects the transience of life. "unfolding" invites the viewer to embrace the changes and recognize the beauty in the passing.

Day by Day [deɪ baɪ deɪ]

Every day and every year brings new experiences, challenges and insights that are reflected in this work of art. Using structural paste, the highs and lows, the everyday life that never runs in a straight line, are brought out even more clearly. The curved lines, an illustration of the ever-changing life.

Strong on her own [strɑːŋ ɑːn hɚ oʊn]

"Strong on her own" represents the complexity and strength of femininity. The use of pink, red and pink tones gives the work a feminine aesthetic that does not appear stereotypical, but rather reflects the diversity and complexity of being a woman.
