Unfolding

 

"unfolding" is an abstract work of art in which I also used wax as a medium. Over time the work changes and wax begins to loosen, peel, revealing an underlying layer. This change symbolizes the process of unfolding and revealing hidden layers and secrets. The transience of wax reflects the transience of life and art itself. "unfolding" invites the viewer to embrace the changes and recognize the beauty in the passing.
